For a cake smash session, the first choice is whether you want to take the photos yourself or book a photographer. We offer both at M Selfie Studio.
Please book your appointment before coming. We do not accept walk-ins. Check the package details carefully, especially whether a real cake is included.
Self-shoot or photographer-led?
Our Baby Cake Smash self-shoot package is RM160 for 25 minutes, for up to four people. It includes props, fake cakes, four 4R prints and digital photos. You take the photos with the remote shutter.
If you want a photographer to take the photos, the Essential package starts at RM299 for 25 minutes, for up to four people, with two 4R prints and edited digital photos. Photographer-led edited photos are delivered through Google Drive within two to three working days.

Does the package include a real cake?
Fake cake props and a real cake are different inclusions. The Elite photographer package lists a real cake; do not assume a cake is supplied with every cake smash session. If you want to bring your own, contact us first to confirm the arrangements.
What should we bring?
Bring the outfit you want photographed, a clean change of clothes and your usual baby supplies. Wipes and a towel are useful if you are using a real cake. A familiar toy may also help while your baby gets used to the room.
Parents and siblings count towards the package's people limit. If you want the whole family in the photos, check that the package covers everyone before booking.
Keep the plan simple
You may want a few family photos before the cake comes out, followed by photos of your baby with the cake. If you have specific shots in mind, tell us before your appointment so we can check what fits the session you have chosen.
There is no need to expect a particular reaction to the cake. Your baby might dig in, touch it carefully or want to sit with you. Leave some room in the plan for that.
