Creative Lightroom is the name of a self-shoot package at M Selfie Studio. Here, it refers to a studio lighting look, rather than photo-editing software.
A gobo creates a pattern by placing a shaped cutout in the path of a light. The result can be a window-like shape, lines or another pattern across the portrait setup.
Choose the package first
The Creative Lightroom self-shoot package is RM99 for 20 minutes and two people, with two 4R prints and digital photos. Check the current card and example photos for the look and inclusions.
Some birthday packages include gobo lighting. There is also a Gobo Light add-on for eligible bookings. If your package already lists it, you do not need to add it again. Check with us if you are unsure whether it works with your selected room or package.
What to do during the shoot
Start with a simple pose so you can see where the pattern falls. A small change in where you stand or turn can change the photo. Use the monitor to compare a few frames before trying another pose.
Our team prepares the lighting. Please do not move the camera, lights or stands. Ask us if the pattern needs adjusting.
Check the examples before choosing
Patterned lighting gives a different result from an evenly lit plain backdrop. Look at the studio’s real example photos and choose the look you prefer. For a photographer-led option, compare the relevant photographer packages and their delivery schedule.
