The easiest way to waste a self-shoot is to start planning outfits after the timer starts. At M Selfie Studio on Jalan Puchong / Old Klang Road, the room, lighting, and backdrop are already set when you walk in. You hold the remote and watch yourself on the monitor. Come a little early. Once your slot starts, the clock keeps running even if you're still doing hair or changing.
Book the right session before you pack
Self Shoot if you want to take the pictures yourselves. Photographer if you want someone from the studio to pose you and shoot. Browse packages and Studios before you lock outfits. New to the format? The self-shoot walkthrough shows what's already set when you walk in.
Match the package to everyone who will be in the room; pax rules are on the FAQ. Decide who's holding the remote before you start.

Arrive ready, not still deciding
Arrive a little early so check-in and the walkthrough don't eat into your shoot. Hair and outfit changes after the timer starts come out of your shoot time. If you arrive late, you get a shorter session. Full arrival rules are on the FAQ.

What to wear (and what to leave)
Pick the set first, then the clothes. Dark outfits can disappear into our bookshelf. On sky blue, wear something that actually contrasts with the wall. Themed and gobo rooms already have a look; a quieter outfit reads better than competing with the pattern. Shoes show in full-body frames, so choose them on purpose.
Bring your own clothes and personal props (grad robes, scarves). We supply generic props. Pack a second look only if you can change quickly; the timer keeps running while you change.
Three things I'd do before leaving home
- Confirm the pax covers everyone who will be in the room.
- Arrive already dressed for your first look.
- Decide your three most important photos before the timer starts.
