Choose self-shoot if you want to take the photos yourself with a remote. Choose a photographer-led session if you want someone to guide the poses and take the photos for you. Both are available at M Selfie Studio.
When self-shoot suits you
Self-shoot works well when you are happy trying your own poses. The camera and lights are ready, and a monitor lets you check the framing as you go. You can repeat a photo without having to explain the idea to a photographer.
For couples and friends, decide who will hold the remote and start with a few relaxed photos together. You do not need camera experience. Our team explains the setup; ask us for help rather than moving the equipment yourself.
When a photographer is useful
A photographer can help arrange a group and direct your pose. This may be useful for family portraits, graduation photos, headshots or a baby’s cake smash, especially if you would prefer to focus on your family rather than operate the remote.
Check the particular photographer package for the session length, people limit, prints and edited files. A photographer session has a separate delivery schedule because the photos need editing.
Compare the actual packages
The backdrop and occasion matter as much as the session type. For example, maternity sessions are available as both self-shoot and photographer-led packages. Cake smash also has both options, with different cake and print inclusions.
Plain-backdrop self-shoot Solo is RM60 for 15 minutes and Duo is RM80 for 20 minutes. Photographer prices depend on the type of session. Use the current package cards to compare the options you are considering.
Self-shoot digital files are usually provided the same day. For edited photographer photos, use the turnaround stated on your package. If you need photos by a particular date, check with us before reserving a slot.
